Property Description

Experience country living at its finest with this executive ranch-style estate plus Atlas F silo. Just after a complete remodel, an unexpected job change forced this family to move out of state. We will only have this property for a limited time, so don't miss your chance to make this beautiful place your own. Nestled on 20 (+/-) secluded acres , this former Atlas F site is now a high-end ranch that will delight. A recently remodeled home, recently appraised at around $500,000, provides 5200 square feet of luxurious living space. Additionally, there is a 4-stall horse stable and plenty of fenced area for horses. A lighted tennis court is well-maintained and ready for play. For guests, nannies, or in-laws, a full hook-up for an RV has been installed on the property, which includes power, water and sewer. Many trees have been planted around the property, and currently there are mowed paths for walking or riding. It’s easy to fall in love with this place!

The Silo

The underground silo tube is flooded, however the Launch Control Center (LCC) is accessible and both are in raw condition and have been partially scrapped. There is three-phase, 480v power to the site. The photo below shows a solar pump, which pumps water from the silo out to the gardens. The Quonset hut concrete pads are both in place and could be built upon with some repair. The Army Corps of Engineers has recently drilled 90 test wells around the property and onto the adjacent property for the mitigation of a small TCE (trichloroethylene) plume that is moving slowly away from the site. Because the home is 100% serviced by the rural water supply and the plume is detected well below the water table, it poses no threat to humans or animals, and hasn’t for the past 20 years. Prospective buyers/new owners will have access to the full environmental reports as they become available.
